EVENTS

In addition to our weekly meetings, we have lots of events that happen throughout the year. From Messy Nights to fun service projects, to retreats and trips, there is really something for everyone.

The vision of Pilgrim Youth Group is to Reach, Grow and Go Together!

Our hope is that each young person is reached by God’s love and forgiveness through Jesus, that they grow in their faith and that they practice going into the world to love and serve others. And on top of all that, our hope is that we do this together --- we are a “group” after all! We strive to foster an atmosphere of inclusion, unity and fun. We want Pilgrim Youth Group to be a group that young people want to be a part of and want their friends to be a part of.

GET OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN

Pilgrim Youth Group likes to hang out together. We regularly go on outings in and around our community.

SERVICE

Pilgrim Youth Group is very active in serving our local community. We love to love our neighbors through various service projects throughout the year. We are involved in about one service project per month. Some service projects, like decorating Sweet Cases (duffel bags for kids in foster care), happen right at our church building. Others require travel, like our service trip to Akron to help at Haven of Rest.

ANNUAL TUSCARORA WINTER WEEKEND

Tuscarora Winter Weekend is a 4-day, faith-building, friendship-forming Youth Conference held at Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center in Mt. Bethel, PA.

The conference is held every year over President’s Day Weekend in February. We charter a bus and travel together to the conference. While there, we join with other churches from our Eastern CLB region as well as other churches in the area. Teens attend sessions where they hear from gifted speakers and pastors on topics that help them build their faith. They also worship together and connect with God through music that relates to them.

Meals are provided but most teens still love to fill up on treats at the Snack Bar! Games and various free time activities (Basketball, Karaoke, Crafts, etc.) are also a big part of the experience.
