SUNDAY SCHOOL

September through May
Sunday School is provided for all ages, pre-school to adult, and occurs between our two worship services beginning at 9:45 AM. Pilgrim's regular Sunday School runs from September to the end of May with aligned curriculum designed to unite our church and empower your home.

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL
May through July
May 26th through July 19th
Summer Sunday School offers a more casual Sunday School with a combination of children's classes, teen classes, and one class for adults. For Summer 2026, children will study The Lord's Prayer, and adults will study Max Lucado's Tame Your Thoughts.

D6 Family Ministry Curriculum brings gospel-centered, biblically grounded truth to every age group from Pre-K to Adults. The lessons are designed to help kids, teens, and adults build a biblical worldview they can live by. Pilgrim teaches D6 in 2-month blocks from the Fall to Spring.

D6 Family Ministry lessons are tailored for all ages, from young students to adults.

PreK/K Class
Meets on the main floor of the church in the Pre-School Classroom adjacent to the Nursery

Grades 1-3 Class
Meets in the Green Classroom downstairs.

Grades 4-6 Class
Meets in the Blue Classroom downstairs.

Teen Sunday School Class
Designed for students in grades 7 thru 12. Students meet in the Youth Room downstairs. Look for the Orange Room and the casual furniture.

Adult Sunday School Classes
Four classes are available for adults:

D6 - Adult level
Rock Room Class
Sanctuary Study

Nursery is available for walking toddlers during Sunday School Classes. The Nursery is located on the main floor of the church in the hallway behind the sanctuary.

Two members of Pilgrim co-teach every children's class, including Nursery. Teachers receive training every year and obtain background checks.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP & CLASSES

FALL | WINTER | SPRING
September - April, offered in semesters.

Wednesday Nights at Pilgrim begin with fellowship at 6:00 PM (usually with supper) in the Fellowship Room.

Classes for all ages, including Confirmation Class, begin at 7:00 PM in our downstairs classrooms.

Grades K-6 Class
When Wednesday Nights are in session, kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade will be immersed in BLAST - Believe, Learn, and Share Together.

Two members of Pilgrim co-teach every class. Teachers receive training every year and obtain background checks.

Confirmation Class Grades 7-8
Confirmation class is based on Luther’s Small Catechism and meets in the Rock Room, downstairs. It's the White Classroom with a view of the Rock Wall.

High School Class Grades 9-12
Meets in the Youth Room, downstairs. Look for the Orange Room and the casual furniture.

Adult Wednesday Night Class
Meets downstairs in the Fellowship Room. Topical studies rotate and each lasts for about 6 weeks.

SUMMER FAMILY LIFE

SUMMER
June through August
Begins June 24, 2026

Our Summer Family Life Wednesday night program begins with a picnic supper at 6:00 PM outside in our beautiful pavilion next to the sand volleyball court. On many occasions, you might be served world-famous "Poppa Whoppers" hot from the grill, sometimes accompanied by hot dogs. Many people bring a dish or dessert to share.

Fellowship continues with either a music program, Bible Study, or an event starting at 7:oo PM. Bible studies are provided for all ages. We usually split into three groups: kids, high school, and adults.

On rainy evenings, we still meet by moving inside into the Fellowship Room and Grace Hall Gym.

Men's Bible Study
Saturdays at 8:00 AM

Join us for a great time of Bible study & fellowship over coffee and donuts! We are currently studying the book of Matthew. The class meets in the Rock Room, downstairs classroom second on the left. Please contact Dallas for more information.

Men's Prayer Breakfast Group
Wednesdays at 8:30 AM

Meets at the Perkins Restaurant, 700 Mentor Ave, Painesville. Come join us for a great time of fellowship, Scripture and prayer over breakfast! Please contact Dallas with any questions.

PILGRIM LIBRARY

Pilgrim has a mighty library of books and dvd’s for adults, teens, and children. It occupies part of Pilgrim's former sanctuary with exposed wood beams making it a special place to take a break and read. Books and dvd’s may be borrowed and returned at your own pace.
