True North VBS will take kids on a trek through Pilgrim's "tundra" where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. They’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. With Jesus as our unmovable, unshakable friend, he points us toward a rock-solid foundation. Jesus is our True North!

TrueNorth is for kids age 4 by June 8th through the completion of 8th grade.

MUSICAL THEATRE SUMMER CAMP

The Bumble BEEatitudes - An Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount

Performances on Sunday
July 13th, 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Services

Musical Theatre Camp is for kids who have completed 1st - 8th grade. Participants will spend time singing, learning choreography, rehearsing lines and staging, studying God's Word, building sets, making new friends, and presenting their message to the congregation!

PLBC BOOK CLUB

A great selection of books is always on the PLBC Book Club list. The group meets most months for book discussion and fellowship. Whoever hosts is also the facilitator of the book discussion. If you want to bring your own dinner, feel free to do so. Beverages will be provided by the hostess.

PRIME TIMERS 55+ LUNCHEON

2nd Mondays of Month, Year Round
12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Pilgrim Fellowship Room or Pavilion

​Prime Timers meets the 2nd Monday of most months. All you need to do is be 55 an over. Come hungry for food, fellowship, and spiritual nourishment. Jan will prepare one of her 'world famous' dishes for you. Or if the weather is nice, we'll do a picnic in the Pavilion and Pastor Bob will make Poppa Whoppers.

Please bring a friend. We love to meet new people!

PLAY SPORTS

From basketball to volleyball mixed with roller hockey, pickleball, boating, and cross-country skiing, Pilgrim has many sports ministries for participation.

  • We welcome our community's youth to play on our outdoor courts during off hours.

ADVENT FESTIVAL

November 29th 2023

Celebrating Advent begins four weeks prior to Christmas as we anticipate the arrival of Christ.

At Pilgrim will begin the season with an Advent Festival that includes making an Advent Wreath, Crismons for the tree, and Lefse, a Norwegian sweet flatbread. It's a fun night of celebration and Christmas preparation!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 

​The last evening of VBS includes a program full of music and Bible verses performed by each age group.

Pilgrim's Vacation Bible School (VBS) is full of Christ-centered energy for kids age 4 through 8th grade. Each program is custom designed to immerse kids in Bible stories using many interactive activities. We start in the sanctuary with lively music and an entertaining skit. Kids are placed into groups based by grade and then travel with their leaders for craft making, Bible discovery, games, snacks, and music. Many friendships form at VBS while kids learn about God who loves them deeply!

​Registration is free and begins a month before VBS week begins.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Sunday, about 2 weeks before Christmas

EASTER FESTIVAL

Wednesday Evening, about 10 days before Easter

As part of Pilgrim's Children's Ministry, our Education Board hosts an Easter Festival for kids and families. A light supper is typically provided followed by activities and games.

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP

One Full Week in July or August
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Musical Theatre Camp is a highlight of Pilgrim's children's ministry. Many lasting friendships have formed at this camp as the kids come together to produce a Christ centered musical in just 6 days! 

The camp is from Monday to Friday with a dress rehearsal on Saturday morning. The musical is performed at both the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM services on Sunday.

FISH FRY FUNDRAISER

Pilgrim hosts an annual fundraiser to benefit Medical Supplies For Christ, each year in either August or September.  The 2024 Fish Fry will be September 11th at 6:00 PM.

Most years the fundraiser is a fabulous Fish Fry with either walleye or perch caught in our Great Lake Erie by members of our church. If the fish don't cooperate, we still have the fundraiser and call it a "Fishless Fry" - still fabulous.

All funds given support the efforts of Medical Supplies For Christ as they go into the underdeveloped world with quality healthcare and bibles to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

WOMEN's FALL MINI RETREAT

The Women's Ministry hosts an annual Fall Treat for women to relax and grow in their relationship with Christ. Many lasting friendships are formed as women explore how it is evident that God is in their lives and the lives of others. The day includes fun activities, devotions, singing, and studying scripture.

​The retreat usually takes place in early October. A light breakfast and lunch is served.
